Osaki OS-Highpointe 4D massage chair in living room

True 4D Massage Mechanism

Unlike rollers that move at a fixed pace regardless of what they encounter, the Highpointe’s 4D rollers automatically slow on tight, resistant muscle tissue and accelerate through looser areas — exactly as a skilled therapist’s hands do.

The massage mechanism operates in four independent dimensions: vertical travel along the spine, lateral adjustment for width, forward-and-back movement for depth and pressure, and variable speed — the critical fourth dimension that makes 4D genuinely different from 3D. With 5 intensity levels and 5 strength settings, the Highpointe can deliver everything from a therapeutic deep-tissue session to a measured recovery massage, adapting to what your body needs at any given moment.

50-Inch SL-Track System

A standard S-Track ends at the lumbar, leaving the glutes and hamstrings — the areas that carry the most tension for anyone who sits for long periods — entirely untouched. The Highpointe’s SL-Track solves this by continuing down through both zones.

The 50-inch track follows the spine’s natural S-curve from the base of the neck, then continues in an L-shaped extension through the glutes and into the upper hamstrings. The 4D rollers maintain consistent contact with the body’s natural contours across the entire path, delivering unbroken coverage from neck to legs in a single continuous pass.

Computerized Body Scan Technology

Without a body scan, rollers follow a preset path built for an average body — meaning key pressure points are easily missed for anyone taller, shorter, or differently proportioned than that average.

At the start of each session, the Highpointe automatically scans the user’s unique shoulder position, spine length, and body contours. This data recalibrates the precise path the 4D rollers will follow throughout the session, ensuring accurate placement and consistent pressure distribution across every zone — every single time, for every member of the household.

2-Stage Zero Gravity, Sleep Mode, and Space-Saving Technology

Sitting upright compresses your spine against gravity. Zero Gravity elevates your legs to heart level, redistributing body weight and decompressing the vertebrae — so the 4D rollers penetrate more deeply at the same applied intensity.

Two selectable Zero Gravity stages let you choose between moderate elevation for everyday sessions and a deeper neutral angle for maximum spinal decompression. Sleep Mode holds the chair in full recline after the session ends so you can continue resting undisturbed. Osaki’s Space-Saving Technology allows the Highpointe to reach a full recline with only 2 inches of wall clearance — a significant advantage over conventional chairs that require a foot or more of space behind them.

6-Zone Full-Body Heat Therapy with Removable Heating Shawl

Most chairs heat the back only. The Highpointe’s removable shawl applies warmth to the chest and stomach simultaneously — your muscles are being warmed from the front and back at the same time, in a way that standard chairs cannot replicate.

Six independent heating zones operate throughout the session: lumbar heat, calf heat, heat integrated directly into the massage rollers, and a removable shawl that drapes over the chest and abdomen. The combination creates true 360-degree heat coverage that softens tissue ahead of the rollers, promotes circulation, and allows deeper pressure delivery at the same or lower intensity settings.

44-Cell Full-Body Air Compression

Circulation is stimulated from shoulders to feet throughout every session — reaching body areas the rollers alone cannot address.

Forty-four air cells are positioned at the shoulders, arms, hips, calves, and feet and inflate in carefully coordinated sequences alongside the 4D roller massage. The rhythmic compression-and-release action reduces swelling, relieves deep-seated fatigue, and promotes blood flow across the entire body in a single session.

Deep Calf Kneading

Standard calf airbags compress and release — but they cannot knead. The Highpointe’s calf rollers move through the muscle while airbags apply simultaneous compression, replicating the multi-directional motion of a therapist’s hands.

Dedicated calf kneading rollers travel vertically along the length of the calf muscle while the surrounding airbags stabilize and compress from outside. Both systems operate simultaneously rather than in sequence, creating a layered lower-leg treatment that breaks down adhesions and restores circulation in a way that compression alone cannot achieve.

3-Roller Foot and Calf Reflexology System

Most chairs compress the sides of the feet and stop there — missing the sole, arch, and heel entirely, which is where the highest concentration of reflexology points are located.

Each side of the footrest features two dedicated foot reflexology rollers that spin from heel to toe at two selectable speeds, working the full length of the sole. A third roller per side addresses the calf. Airbags press the feet firmly into the rollers to maximize contact and ensure consistent, targeted pressure throughout the session. The foot section heats alongside the calf area as part of the 6-zone heat system.

Intelligent Voice Control, Touchscreen Remote, and Armrest Shortcut Panel

Once you are fully reclined and deep into a session, reaching for a remote breaks the relaxation the massage has been building. Voice control lets you adjust programs, intensity, and recline position with a spoken command — no interruption, no effort.

The built-in voice system handles all major chair functions through spoken commands. The touchscreen tablet remote provides a visual interface for full program navigation in English, Chinese, and Korean. The armrest shortcut panel gives quick access to recline, Zero Gravity, footrest, and power without picking up the remote mid-session. All three control options work independently of each other, so you always have the one that is most convenient in the moment.

Surround Sound Bluetooth Speakers and Wireless Qi Phone Charging

Physical massage addresses muscle tension, but a truly restorative session also benefits from the right environment. Audio and wireless charging transform the chair from a massage device into a complete recovery environment.

High-fidelity surround sound Bluetooth speakers stream music, guided meditation, or podcasts from any paired device. The built-in Qi wireless charging pad in the armrest keeps compatible phones topped up throughout the session without any cable. A USB port provides wired charging for non-wireless devices. You emerge from the session relaxed, not greeted by a dead battery.

16 Automatic Programs and 6 Manual Massage Styles

Sixteen purpose-built programs cover the full range of daily needs — you can start a session immediately without configuring anything. Six manual styles give you full control over technique, zone, and intensity when you want to build from scratch.

Automatic Programs (16): Full Body Relax, Neck & Shoulder, Back Relief, Deep Tissue, Stretch, Hip & Leg, Office Recovery, Sport Recovery, Sleeping Aid, Energy Boost, Stress Release, Lumbar Care, Senior Program, Quick Massage, Full Airbag, Custom.

Manual Massage Styles (6): Knocking, Tapping, Rolling, Knocking & Tapping, 4D Shiatsu, Rolling (Extended).

8-Inch Automatic Footrest Extension

If the footrest does not match your leg length, the calf and foot rollers end up misaligned — and miss their targets entirely. The Highpointe’s footrest adjusts automatically at the start of each session so every user is correctly positioned without any manual setup.

The footrest extends up to 8 inches automatically, positioning the calf kneading rollers, calf airbags, and foot reflexology rollers at the correct location for users across the full height range. Manual fine-tuning is available through the touchscreen at any point during the session, and adjustments between household members require no effort at all.

Our Expert Take on the Osaki OS-Highpointe 4D

At this price point in the massage chair market, the word “4D” is used broadly — and buyers quickly discover it does not mean the same thing across brands. What makes the Highpointe stand apart is what the fourth dimension actually does: real-time speed variation. The rollers do not just move in three physical directions; they automatically adjust pace in response to tissue resistance, slowing where the muscle is tight and speeding through areas that are already relaxed. This produces a session that genuinely responds to your body rather than running through a mechanical routine regardless of what it encounters. Owners who have experienced both 3D and 4D chairs consistently describe the Highpointe’s massage as noticeably more fluid and satisfying.

The 50-inch SL-Track is the right foundation for anyone who holds tension in the lower back, glutes, or upper hamstrings — which describes most people who sit at a desk all day. The automatic body scan ensures that coverage is actually precise for each user’s spine, not just broadly in the right area. The 6-zone heat system — including the removable front heating shawl — is one of the most complete thermal therapy setups in its class, softening tissue ahead of the rollers from both front and back simultaneously. Forty-four air cells handle full-body compression alongside the roller work, and deep calf kneading with 3-roller foot reflexology rounds out the lower-body treatment effectively.

The control system is among the best in this price range. Three independent options — voice, touchscreen tablet, and armrest panel — mean you always have access to adjustments without interrupting the session. Sixteen automatic programs cover every common use case well, and the “Custom” program slot combined with six manual styles gives experienced users full control when they want it.

The Highpointe is the right chair for buyers who want genuine 4D therapeutic quality, full-body heat coverage including the front shawl, and a control system flexible enough for a multi-person household — all in a design that fits close to the wall and comes in four color options. It is not the right fit for buyers who want a very gentle or light massage, or for those whose maximum user weight approaches 270 lbs. Call 888-612-8862 and we will give you a direct answer about whether the Highpointe is what your situation calls for.

What We Love

  • Genuine 4D speed variation — Rollers slow on tight tissue, speed through loose areas. This is the feature that separates a truly responsive massage from a mechanical one, and owners feel the difference immediately.
  • 50-inch SL-Track with automatic body scan — Full coverage from neck through glutes and hamstrings, recalibrated to each user’s exact spine before every session. No manual adjustment needed between users.
  • 6-zone heat including front heating shawl — Chest and stomach warmed simultaneously with the back — a 360-degree thermal experience that most chairs at any price do not attempt. The shawl removes easily and works independently of any massage program.
  • 44-cell full-body air compression — One of the higher air cell counts in this class. Coordinated compression at shoulders, arms, hips, calves, and feet throughout every session.
  • Deep calf kneading with simultaneous airbag compression — Rollers and airbags work together at the same time rather than in sequence — a layered lower-leg treatment that foam rolling and simple compression cannot replicate.
  • Three-way control system — Voice commands, touchscreen tablet, and armrest shortcut panel. Whichever is most convenient, you always have it. Consistently rated as one of the most accessible control setups in its category.
  • 2-inch wall clearance — Among the tightest space requirements in the full-recline class. Fits in rooms where most chairs with similar features simply do not.
  • Sleep Mode — Holds the Zero Gravity recline after the session ends so you can rest undisturbed rather than having the chair return upright the moment the timer expires.
  • Wireless Qi charging built in — No cable, no hunting for a port mid-session. Your phone charges throughout and is ready when you stand up.
  • Four color options — Blue, Dark Brown, Black, and Taupe. Unusual flexibility for a chair in this category.

Worth Knowing

  • The minimum intensity is still a substantive massage — This is a therapeutic chair, and even its lightest setting delivers real, perceptible pressure. If your primary goal is a feather-soft or purely relaxation-style experience, the Highpointe may be more than you are looking for. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether a different model better matches your preference.
  • User height range is 5’0“–6’2” and maximum user weight is 270 lbs — Worth confirming before ordering if you are near either limit. Users above 6’2” may find the roller coverage does not fully extend to the hamstrings as intended.
  • This is a single-mechanism chair — One roller assembly travels the full 50-inch SL-Track. For buyers who specifically want simultaneous upper and lower back coverage without pause — where two assemblies work at the same time — a dual-mechanism chair addresses that differently. Call 888-612-8862 and we will explain the trade-offs based on what your body actually needs.

Our Verdict

The Osaki OS-Highpointe 4D delivers what many chairs only claim: a massage that actually responds to what your body is doing moment to moment. The true 4D speed variation, 50-inch SL-Track, 6-zone front-and-back heat, and 44-cell compression system work together as a coherent therapeutic package rather than a feature checklist. Best for buyers who want genuine 4D therapeutic quality in a space-efficient chair with multi-person household flexibility, including desk workers, active recovery users, and those with chronic back and lower-body tension. Look elsewhere if you prefer a gentle massage above all else, if your weight approaches 270 lbs, or if simultaneous dual-mechanism back coverage is your primary priority.

Who Is This Chair Best For?

The Desk-Bound Professional

Hours of sitting load the lumbar, compress the glutes, and build chronic neck and upper trapezius tension that keeps accumulating. The 50-inch SL-Track addresses every one of those zones in a single unbroken pass. The automatic body scan positions the rollers precisely for your spine, the front heating shawl loosens the chest and abdomen simultaneously, and 16 preset programs mean there is always a session ready the moment you step away from the screen.

The Active Recovery User

The 4D rollers automatically slow where tissue is tight and fatigued — focusing effort where it is most needed rather than applying the same pressure everywhere. Deep calf kneading with simultaneous airbag compression breaks down post-training adhesions in the lower legs. Zero Gravity decompresses the spine before the massage begins, making the entire session more effective after a hard day of physical output.

The Multi-Person Household

The automatic body scan and 8-inch auto footrest extension recalibrate for each user at the start of every session. No manual setup, no adjustments between household members. Three separate control interfaces — voice, touchscreen, and armrest panel — mean everyone uses the chair their own way. Four color options mean the chair actually fits the room.

When to Consider a Different Chair

If a very light or gentle massage is your primary priority, a single-mechanism chair with a wider low-end intensity range may suit you better. The Highpointe’s minimum setting is still a substantive massage by most standards.

If simultaneous dual-area back coverage is your primary goal — where one roller assembly works your neck and shoulders while another works your lumbar at the same time without pause — the Osaki OS-Pro 4D DuoMax addresses that specifically through a dual-mechanism design. Call 888-612-8862 and we will walk through the differences in about two minutes and tell you which one fits your situation better.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “4D” actually mean on the Highpointe — and how is it different from 3D?

4D refers to four independent dimensions of roller motion: up and down the spine, side to side (width adjustment), in and out (depth and pressure), and variable speed. Speed variation is the critical fourth dimension: the rollers automatically slow where muscle tissue is tight and resistant, and speed up through areas that are already relaxed. A 3D roller applies consistent speed regardless of tissue condition, which means it never focuses extra time where the muscle actually needs it. The Highpointe’s real-time adaptation is what makes a 4D session feel genuinely responsive rather than mechanical. Call 888-612-8862 if you would like us to explain the difference in practical terms based on your specific situation.

What is the SL-Track and how is it different from an S-Track?

An S-Track follows the natural curve of the spine from the neck down to the lumbar area and stops there. An SL-Track does all of that and then continues in an L-shaped extension through the glutes and into the upper hamstrings — areas that carry significant tension for anyone who sits for long periods but that an S-Track chair cannot reach at all. The Highpointe’s 50-inch SL-Track ensures those zones receive the same quality of roller massage as the upper and lower back, closing a gap that most chairs in this category leave entirely unaddressed.

What does the heating shawl do, and is it different from regular chair heat?

Most massage chairs heat the lower back and sometimes the calves — only the back side of the body. The Highpointe’s heating shawl is a removable heat pad that drapes over the chest and stomach while you sit, applying warmth to the front of your body simultaneously with the back heat. Your muscles are being warmed from both sides at once, which softens tissue more effectively and allows the rollers to penetrate more deeply without increasing pressure. The shawl operates independently of the massage program and can be added to any session or used on its own.

How does the return policy work?

We offer easy, no-questions-asked 30-day returns. If the Highpointe is not the right fit within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we will send a truck to pick it up — there is no freight for you to arrange. We have maintained an A+ BBB Rating since 2005, and standing behind our returns is a large part of how we have kept it.

What is the warranty?

The Highpointe carries a 5-year warranty from Osaki (Titan Chair LLC). The first 3 years cover parts and labor in full, including in-home service — a certified technician is dispatched to your home, and you never need to pack or transport the chair. Years 4 and 5 cover parts only. Call 888-612-8862 with any warranty questions.

What are the height and weight limits?

The Highpointe accommodates users from 5’0“ to 6’2“ tall and up to 270 lbs. The automatic footrest extends up to 8 inches for height adjustment. Seat width is 21 inches and shoulder width is 22 inches. Call 888-612-8862 with specific fit questions and we will give you a direct answer.

How much space does it need?

The Highpointe requires only 2 inches of wall clearance to reach a full recline. Standing dimensions are 34.5” wide by 61” long by 48” tall. Fully reclined it measures 34.5” wide by 69” long by 41” tall. The chair’s minimum doorway clearance is 28 inches and it is designed to fit through standard household doorways. Net weight is 305.6 lbs.

Why buy from Easy Massage Chair?

We have been family-owned since 2005 with an A+ BBB Rating for over 20 years, selling massage chairs exclusively the entire time. We offer a best price guarantee, free shipping, and no sales tax outside of New Jersey. Every chair ships 100% brand new from the manufacturer. When you call 888-612-8862, you speak with someone who has direct experience with these chairs — not a script.

What financing is available?

We offer financing through Affirm (0%–36% APR based on creditworthiness; check your rate at checkout without affecting your credit score) and PayPal Credit (0% interest for eligible buyers for up to 6 months).

Is the Highpointe worth it compared to ongoing massage appointments?

For buyers who use a chair consistently, the economics typically compare favorably to ongoing professional massage within 18–24 months. More importantly, the Highpointe’s genuine 4D speed variation, front-and-back heat therapy, and deep calf kneading produce a session that buyers with regular professional massage experience describe as therapeutically meaningful — not just convenient. Call 888-612-8862 for an honest assessment of whether it addresses your specific situation.

Massage Mechanism (What's this?)

4D massage adds a fourth dimension of movement — in and out (depth) — on top of the standard up/down, left/right, and circular motions of 3D rollers. This lets the chair vary pressure in real time to simulate the feel of a skilled human massage therapist. The Highpointe offers 5 levels of depth intensity adjustment.

Track Type (What's this?)

An SL-Track combines an S-Track (which follows the natural S-curve of the spine from neck to lower back) with an L-Track extension that wraps under the seat and along the glutes and upper hamstrings. This gives a longer massage path than an S-Track alone.

Reclining & Positioning
Zero Gravity Reclining (What's this?)

Zero Gravity positioning, originally developed by NASA, tilts the seat so that your knees are raised above your heart level.
