Pampering Our Frontliners In The Time Of The Pandemic

The pandemic has no doubt changed the course of our lives. From a society that has thrived in bustling human connection, we have been forced to stay in isolation and live with anxious precaution. Thousands of businesses have been gravely affected, while families here and there have been severely damaged. But amidst the chaos that ensued, we still have our everyday heroes to thank and salute.

Who are they? We’re talking about our healthcare workers who stand in the front lines to help the world combat this virus once and for all. Does that sound familiar? That’s because we feel the outcome of their acts of bravery every single day that the pandemic goes on.

Yes, they are the ones who tirelessly show up for work every single day. And despite risking not only their lives but also that of their families as well, they stand by selflessly and give their best efforts to help curb the rising COVID-19 cases.

Have you seen them in action? We have. At the California Hospital Medical Center Foundation, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare workers are undoubtedly familiar with this scenario:

The seemingly unending flock of patients seeking care, positive case counts piling up, and even death tolls rising---all these and possibly even more, they have handled. They have a choice to be selfish and stay home just like the rest of us, yet they continue to serve and fight alongside their comrades in the field. Day by day they sacrifice rest, sleep, and comfort, just to make sure their patients come first.

So, we asked ourselves, what can we do?

Surely, there is something more that we can offer aside from wishing and praying for this pandemic to be over. Then it dawned on us. At Easy Massage Chair, we bring relaxation to the homes of our customers.
