Description

Bluetooth Amphitheater Speakers
High-grade audio built into the headrest that surrounds you with sound rather than projecting it at you from a single point.
The amphitheater-design speaker system is positioned to reduce ambient noise while streaming music, podcasts, or guided relaxation audio from your phone over Bluetooth. The immersive sound design complements the physical relaxation of the massage rather than competing with it, making the overall session experience more complete.

Our Expert Take on the Osaki 4D Emperor II
The Emperor II is a meaningful step forward from the original OS-Pro 4D Emperor, and the upgrade comes in the areas that matter most for day-to-day satisfaction. Where the original offered two stages of zero gravity and 18 airbags, the Emperor II delivers three zero gravity stages and 42 air cells — changes that are immediately perceptible rather than incremental on paper. The addition of Intelligent Health Detection brings the chair into the current generation of adaptive massage technology: the sensors actually read your physiological state before recommending a program, which is more useful than the app-based or questionnaire-based approaches that do not account for how your body feels right now.
The 4D mechanism is the core of what makes the Emperor II worth its position in the lineup. Eight depth levels and variable speed throughout each stroke give a much broader therapeutic range than a 3D chair can achieve, and the heated rollers amplify every stroke by softening the tissue the roller is about to work. The infrared heat travels with the rollers rather than from a fixed pad, so the warming effect follows the massage rather than preceding it in one zone and being absent in another. For anyone who has found other chairs’ heat to feel disconnected from the actual massage, this integration makes a clear difference.
The lower-body package is genuinely comprehensive. The combination of 360-degree rotating calf air massagers, dedicated kneading rollers, and reflexology foot rollers with automatic footrest extension covers the lower leg more thoroughly than most chairs at this level. The 42-airbag system ensures compression is available across the shoulders, arms, waist, pelvis, calves, and feet throughout the full session — not just in dedicated lower-body programs. Sixteen auto programs and six manual modes mean the chair stays useful across different users and different physical states without becoming repetitive.
The Emperor II is best suited for buyers who want a comprehensive daily-use chair with health-adaptive programming, serious back and lower-body coverage, and the versatility to serve multiple household members well. It is not the right fit for anyone whose primary need is simultaneous dual-area back coverage — for that, the DuoMax’s dual mechanism is a different category. Call us at 888-612-8862 and we will give you a direct answer about whether the Emperor II addresses what you are looking for or whether a different model would serve you better.
What We Love
- Intelligent Health Detection — Heart rate, blood oxygen, and fatigue measured before every session. The program recommendation responds to how you actually feel, not just what you selected last time.
- 8-level 4D mechanism — Variable speed and depth across eight intensity levels. Broad enough to serve both first-time users looking for gentle relief and experienced users who want deep therapeutic pressure.
- Heated rollers that travel — Infrared heat built into the roller heads, warming the full path from neck to hamstrings during every stroke rather than from a fixed pad in one zone.
- 42 air cells across the full body — Substantially more coverage than the standard 18-cell designs. Shoulders, arms, waist, hips, calves, and feet all receive coordinated compression throughout the session.
- 3-stage zero gravity — Three recline positions rather than two. The additional stage gives meaningfully more precision in finding the exact angle where your spine decompresses most effectively.
- Deep calf kneading with 360-degree rotation — Kneading rollers and rotating air compression working together rather than separately, reaching tension that airbags alone cannot address.
- Automatic extendable footrest — Adjusts to your leg length during the body scan so the foot and calf massage zones are always correctly positioned without any manual adjustment.
- 16 auto programs plus 6 manual modes — Enough variety to keep daily sessions purposeful and non-repetitive across different users and physical needs.
- 4.7-inch wall clearance — Full zero gravity recline in rooms where most chairs simply will not fit.
- Voice control, wireless charging, and Bluetooth audio — Three quality-of-life features that together mean you never need to interrupt a session to manage your environment.
Worth Knowing
- The therapeutic depth is real — Eight 4D intensity levels span a wide range, but even the lower settings deliver noticeable pressure. If you are looking for an extremely light or feather-soft massage above all else, this chair may give you more than you are seeking. Buyers who want meaningful therapeutic work will find it immediately.
- Single-mechanism design — The Emperor II uses one 4D roller assembly on the SL-Track, which means the rollers work progressively through different back zones. For buyers who specifically want simultaneous upper and lower back coverage, the dual-mechanism Osaki DuoMax is a different class of chair. Call us and we will walk through the difference in a couple of minutes.
- User height and fit — The automatic footrest extension accommodates a range of heights, but confirming your fit before ordering is worthwhile if you are at the upper end of the height range. Call 888-612-8862 and we will give you a direct answer based on your measurements.
Our Verdict
The Osaki 4D Emperor II is a well-built, health-adaptive daily-use chair that delivers serious back coverage, thorough lower-body treatment, and the versatility to serve different users and different physical needs without repetition. The upgrade to three-stage zero gravity, 42 airbags, and Intelligent Health Detection makes it a clear step above its predecessor. Best for buyers who want a comprehensive full-body chair with adaptive programming, heated roller coverage from neck to hamstrings, and strong lower-leg work in a space-efficient design. Look elsewhere if simultaneous dual-area back massage is your primary priority, or if you specifically need the lightest possible touch at the lowest setting.

Who Is This Chair Best For?
The Daily Recovery User
You want a chair that can read your state after a hard day or hard workout and recommend the right program automatically. The health detection system does exactly that — and the 4D mechanism with heated rollers delivers the kind of back work that translates into real next-day improvement, not just temporary relief.
The Multi-User Household
Sixteen auto programs, six manual modes, a body scan that recalibrates per user, and an automatic footrest that adjusts to different leg lengths make the Emperor II practical for households where more than one person will use the chair regularly. The health detection system ensures each person gets a recommendation matched to their current state rather than inheriting someone else’s last settings.
The Space-Conscious Buyer
At 4.7 inches of wall clearance for a full recline, the Emperor II fits rooms that full-feature massage chairs typically cannot. If you have wanted a serious therapeutic chair but assumed it would not work in your space, this is worth measuring. Call 888-612-8862 with your room dimensions and we will confirm whether it fits before you order.
When to Consider a Different Chair
If your primary goal is simultaneous coverage of both the upper and lower back — neck and shoulders massaged at the same time as the lumbar and glutes — the Osaki OS-Pro 4D DuoMax uses two independent roller assemblies to deliver exactly that. The Emperor II uses a single mechanism on the SL-Track, which is comprehensive but sequential rather than simultaneous.
If you are focused primarily on the most thorough lower-body and full-body stretch program rather than back massage depth, the Osaki Kairos Duo may offer trade-offs worth considering. Call 888-612-8862 and we will walk you through the differences in about two minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Emperor II different from the original OS-Pro 4D Emperor?
The Emperor II is a substantial upgrade across several key areas. Most notably, it adds Intelligent Health Detection — sensors that read your heart rate, blood oxygen, and fatigue index before recommending a program — which was not present on the original. The airbag count jumps from 18 to 42 cells, delivering far broader full-body compression coverage. Zero gravity expands from two stages to three, giving more precision in finding your optimal recline. Voice control, deep calf kneading, and the automatic extendable footrest are also new to the Emperor II. The 4D mechanism and SL-Track design remain central to both chairs, but the Emperor II wraps them in a significantly more comprehensive feature set.
How does Intelligent Health Detection work?
Before a session begins, built-in sensors measure your heart rate, blood oxygen level, and fatigue index. The chair analyzes these readings and recommends one of its 16 auto programs matched to your current physiological state. This means the chair responds to how your body actually feels today — post-workout, stressed, or simply fatigued — rather than defaulting to the last program you ran or a fixed user preference.
How does the return policy work?
We offer easy, no-questions-asked 30-day returns. If the Emperor II is not the right fit within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we will send a truck to pick it up — there is no freight for you to coordinate. We have maintained an A+ BBB Rating since 2005, and standing behind our returns is central to how we have kept it.
What is the warranty?
The Osaki 4D Emperor II carries a 5-year warranty: parts coverage for the full five years and in-home labor service for the first three years. Service is handled through Osaki’s US-based service network. Call 888-612-8862 with any warranty questions.
What are the height and weight limits?
The automatic extendable footrest adjusts to accommodate different leg lengths. Call 888-612-8862 with your specific measurements and we will give you a direct answer about fit.
How much space does it need?
The Emperor II requires only 4.7 inches of clearance from the backrest to the wall to recline fully. The space-saving mechanism moves the chair forward as it reclines, eliminating the roughly two feet of clearance that older chairs without this technology require. Call 888-612-8862 with your room dimensions and we will confirm it fits before you order.
Why buy from Easy Massage Chair?
We have been family-owned since 2005 with an A+ BBB Rating for over 20 years, selling massage chairs exclusively the entire time. We offer a best price guarantee, free shipping, and no sales tax outside of New Jersey. Every chair ships 100% brand new from the manufacturer. When you call 888-612-8862, you speak with someone who knows these chairs from direct experience — not from a script.
What financing is available?
We offer financing through Affirm (0%–36% APR based on creditworthiness; check your rate at checkout without affecting your credit score) and PayPal Credit (0% interest for eligible buyers for up to 6 months).
Is the Emperor II worth it compared to ongoing massage appointments?
For buyers who use a chair consistently, the economics typically compare favorably to professional massage within 18–24 months. More importantly, the combination of health-adaptive programming, heated 4D rollers, and 42-cell compression means the Emperor II delivers sessions with genuine therapeutic depth — not just surface-level relaxation. Call 888-612-8862 for an honest assessment of whether it fits your specific needs and usage pattern.

Do I need White Glove Setup or can I do it myself?
- The chairs are simple to setup. It only takes about 20 minutes. The only reason setup is required is because most chairs ship with the arms detached to make it narrower, lighter and easier to move into your home.
- The setup is basically just screwing the arms to the chair. It includes easy to follow instructions and does not require special tools or skills. There are also wheels on the bottom of the chair to make it easier to move.
- If you want them to setup the chair inside your home, please select the option for “White Glove Setup”. We don't recommend it for most people it because it's an easy way to save yourself the money. But we're happy to add it to your order if you'd like.
