49-Inch L-Track — Neck to Hamstrings
Your glutes and hamstrings finally get the same attention your back does — areas most chairs stop short of reaching.
Most massage chairs use an S-track that stops at the lower back. The AcuTech Plus extends its rollers along a 49-inch L-shaped track that continues past the lumbar and into the glutes and hamstrings, so tightness from prolonged sitting gets worked on directly instead of being left out of the session entirely.
44-Airbag Full-Body Compression
Circulation gets a boost at your shoulders, arms, hips, calves, and feet — all working alongside the roller massage, not instead of it.
Forty-four airbags inflate and deflate in a coordinated, alternating pattern throughout every session. The compression pattern is designed to reduce fatigue and support blood flow in the areas that spend the most time cramped or still — particularly useful if you sit for long stretches during the day.
Reflexology Foot Rollers with Ankle Grips
Your feet are held securely in place while ridged rollers work heel-to-toe acupressure points — not just a generic squeeze.
Built-in ankle grips keep your feet positioned correctly while reflexology rollers trace pressure points from heel to toe. Combined with the calf airbags working simultaneously, the lower-leg treatment goes beyond simple compression.
Auto Body Scanning
The chair measures your neck, shoulders, and back before every session, so the rollers work your actual pressure points instead of a generic average.
Before the massage begins, the chair scans your body dimensions and uses that information to guide the rollers along your spine's actual contours. This means the massage adjusts to you rather than the other way around.
9 Auto Programs + 6 Manual Modes
Whatever you need today — recovery, stress relief, or a gentle wind-down — there's already a program built for it.
Choose from nine automatic programs — Recovery, Extend, Relax, Refresh, Upper Auto, Lower Auto, Royal Treatment, Gentle Care, and Stress Relief — each running for 10, 20, or 30 minutes. For hands-on control, six manual modes (Kneading, Knocking, Sync, Tapping, Shiatsu, and Rhythm) let you adjust speed across 6 levels and massage width across 3 settings, targeting your whole body, a specific area, or a single point.
Built-In Arm Remote + Handheld Controller
Adjust your session without sitting up, reaching for a separate remote, or interrupting your recline.
A control panel built directly into the armrest handles quick adjustments, while the handheld controller offers full access to every program and setting. Use whichever is more convenient in the moment.
Zero Gravity Recline
Spinal pressure eases and the roller massage works more effectively once your legs are elevated toward heart level.
Inspired by the neutral body position NASA developed for spaceflight, zero gravity recline distributes your weight evenly across the chair and reduces the load on your spine, letting the massage penetrate more effectively at the same intensity setting.
Wireless Charging and Phone Holder
Keep your phone charged and within view throughout your session, without a cable getting in the way.
A built-in phone holder with Qi wireless charging sits in the armrest, with a USB port available as a backup for devices that don't support wireless charging — so you can play music, watch something, or just keep your phone topped off hands-free.
Space-Efficient Design
Full recline in a footprint that fits rooms where larger chairs simply won't.
The AcuTech Plus needs only 6 inches of clearance from the wall to recline fully, making it a practical fit for apartments, bedrooms, and home offices where space is at a premium.
Saffiano PU Leather Upholstery
A furniture-grade finish that looks at home in your living room, not a clinic.
The chair is upholstered in Saffiano-textured PU leather — the same crosshatched finish found on luxury handbags — giving it a refined look that's easy to wipe down and maintain. Available in Choco, Blue, and Burgundy.

Our Expert Take on the Daiwa AcuTech Plus
The AcuTech Plus occupies a useful spot in the market: a Daiwa chair with a genuinely long 49-inch L-track, 44 airbags, and auto body scanning, without the price tag of Daiwa's premium and luxury lines. The L-track is the headline feature here — extending coverage from the neck all the way to the hamstrings means the glutes and hamstrings get real roller attention, not just airbag squeeze, which matters a lot if your discomfort is concentrated in the lower body from sitting.
Auto body scanning is a feature we like seeing at this price point — it means the chair adjusts its roller path to your actual back before the massage starts, rather than running a fixed track regardless of your shape. The heat therapy across the back, waist, and legs adds a meaningful layer for anyone who deals with cold-weather stiffness or chronic lower back discomfort, and the tapping on/off control is a small but thoughtful detail: tapping increases circulation but can feel like too much for some users, so being able to switch it off without giving up the rest of the program is genuinely useful.
This is a strong fit for anyone who sits most of the day and wants a chair that reaches the areas an S-track chair misses, and for buyers who want zero gravity, heat, and a long track without stepping up into Daiwa's premium tier. It's a less natural fit if you specifically want voice control, an extra-wide shoulder design, or the very newest connected features found on Daiwa's higher-end models. Call us at 888-612-8862 and we'll help you confirm whether the AcuTech Plus or a step-up model is the better match.
What We Love
- 49-inch L-Track — Reaches from neck to hamstrings, covering ground a standard S-track chair simply doesn't reach.
- Auto body scanning — The chair measures your back and shoulders before each session and adjusts roller position accordingly.
- 44-airbag compression — Full-body coverage at the shoulders, arms, hips, calves, and feet, working in a coordinated pattern.
- Reflexology foot rollers with ankle grips — Heel-to-toe pressure point work with your feet held securely in place.
- Three-zone heat therapy — Back, waist, and legs all receive warmth alongside the massage, not as an afterthought.
- Tapping on/off control — A simple switch lets you keep every other program feature while disabling tapping if it's too intense for you.
- 9 auto programs, 6 manual modes — A genuinely wide range of pre-built and customizable options for a chair in this price range.
- Wireless charging + phone holder — Keep your phone charged and accessible hands-free during every session.
- Only 6 inches of wall clearance needed — Fits comfortably in smaller rooms without giving up full recline.
Worth Knowing
- No voice control — Programs and settings are managed through the armrest panel and handheld remote. If hands-free voice commands are a priority for you, one of Daiwa's higher-tier chairs would be a better fit.
- No shoulder pad adjustment or extra-wide shoulder setting — The shoulder massage area is fixed rather than adjustable. Worth considering if you have notably broad or narrow shoulders.
- Tapping can feel intense — The tapping massage mode is designed to stimulate circulation and some users find it more vigorous than expected. The good news is it can be switched off independently while keeping every other massage function active.
- A lot of manual customization to explore — Six manual modes, six speeds, and three width settings give you real control, but if you'd rather just pick a program and relax without adjusting anything, lean on the 9 auto programs first before exploring manual mode.
Our Verdict
The AcuTech Plus delivers genuine L-track coverage, auto body scanning, and three-zone heat at a price well below Daiwa's premium and luxury lines. Best for buyers who sit for long periods and want a chair that reaches the glutes and hamstrings, first-time massage chair owners who want a wide range of programs without a steep learning curve, and anyone who wants zero gravity and heat therapy without stepping up to a higher tier. Look elsewhere if voice control or shoulder-width adjustment are must-haves for you.

Who Is This Chair Best For?
The Desk-Bound Sitter
Hours at a desk leave your hips, glutes, and hamstrings tight in a way that a standard S-track chair never quite reaches. The AcuTech Plus's 49-inch L-track was built specifically to cover this ground.
The First-Time Buyer
Nine ready-made programs mean you don't need to learn a system before your first session feels great, while six manual modes are there whenever you want to take more control.
The Space-Conscious Shopper
Only 6 inches of wall clearance is needed for a full recline, so the AcuTech Plus fits comfortably in an apartment, guest room, or home office without requiring a dedicated space.
When to Consider a Different Chair
If voice control, a smartphone app, or extra manual modes matter to you, the Daiwa Solace is worth comparing — it sits at a similar price point with a slightly different feature mix.
If you want a longer feature list, more auto programs, and Daiwa's higher-tier engineering, the Daiwa Legacy 4 is a step up worth discussing. Call 888-612-8862 and we will walk you through the differences in about two minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the AcuTech Plus different from the Daiwa Solace?
Both share the same 49-inch L-track and zero gravity recline, but the AcuTech Plus has slightly more airbags (44 vs. 42) and nine distinct named auto programs, while the Solace offers one additional manual mode and a companion smartphone app. Call 888-612-8862 and we'll help you decide which fits your priorities better.
How does the return policy work?
We offer easy, no-questions-asked 30-day returns. We have maintained an A+ BBB Rating since 2005, and standing behind our returns is a large part of how we have kept it.
What is the warranty?
New AcuTech Plus chairs purchased online carry Daiwa's standard warranty: 2 years on parts and frame, plus 1 year of labor coverage, beginning at the time of purchase. Registering your chair with Daiwa promptly after delivery is required for warranty coverage to apply. Extended warranty coverage is also available directly through Daiwa. Call 888-612-8862 with any warranty questions.
What are the size and weight limits?
The AcuTech Plus supports users up to approximately 265 lbs. The footrest extends up to 6 inches to accommodate taller users. Call 888-612-8862 with any specific fit questions and we'll give you a direct answer.
How much space does it need?
The AcuTech Plus requires only 6 inches of wall clearance to recline fully. Upright, it measures approximately 53 in. tall by 28 in. wide by 45 in. deep; reclined, it extends to approximately 72 in. long by 28 in. wide by 33 in. tall. Call 888-612-8862 if you have questions about fitting it into your space.
Does it have voice control or a smartphone app?
No. The AcuTech Plus is operated through the built-in armrest panel and the handheld remote control. If a smartphone app or voice control is important to you, the Daiwa Solace or one of Daiwa's premium-tier chairs would be a better fit — call 888-612-8862 and we can walk you through the options.

Do I need White Glove Setup or can I do it myself?
- The chairs are simple to setup. It only takes about 20 minutes. The only reason setup is required is because most chairs ship with the arms detached to make it narrower, lighter and easier to move into your home.
- The setup is basically just screwing the arms to the chair. It includes easy to follow instructions and does not require special tools or skills. There are also wheels on the bottom of the chair to make it easier to move.
- If you want them to setup the chair inside your home, please select the option for “White Glove Setup”. We don't recommend it for most people it because it's an easy way to save yourself the money. But we're happy to add it to your order if you'd like.
Canadian customers
